Beth Wuest, Associate Vice President For Institutional Effectiveness
Her responsibilities include oversight of the University’s strategic plans, outcomes assessment, compliance reporting, academic program reviews, and faculty development programming. Beth also coordinates the review of faculty nominations for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Service and University Distinguished Professor recognition. In addition, she serves as the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) Liaison and is responsible for the preparation of reports and accreditation-related materials for SACSCOC. She also oversees the external specialized/professional accreditation activities of individual academic programs.
Beth, who is an associate professor in the department of consumer and family sciences, has also been the director of Academic Development and Assessment and Presidential Fellow at Texas State. She is the author of textbooks, textbook chapters, and articles in her area of academic specialty and as well has presented papers on academic assessment.
While a faculty member at the University of North Texas, she developed a bachelor’s program in home furnishing merchandising. Beth has also been a faculty member at the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
